The light we know penetrates the darkness. Light cannot be extinguished; the word tells us God can cloak himself in darkness. The darkness tries to hide from the light. We know that man loves darkness more than he loves light, for the light exposes man’s sin. The good news is we can do something about the sin, so we are not afraid of the light. Those who call darkness light are in danger of the judgment. Those who see the light and call it darkness are equally in a bad place spiritually. I’m a Protestant, and I will die a Protestant, a take on a mantra my Catholic stepmother would say all the time about her being Catholic. I once belonged to a wonderful church that got caught up in overlooking her seductions, one or more families were sending their children to her schools ignorant of the truth or had been like many brainwashed from birth. In “Daniel 8:23” we are told that a king/man having a fierce countenance will stand up who understands dark sentences when the transgressors have come to full! Why can’t he be kinder or gentler what makes him fierce? Does he have to be fierce? We know this, it is what the word of God calls for? Isn’t the Christian goal to be like Jesus?
