Jim Carrie is one of Hollywood’s most entertaining comedians who has had many of us roaring with laughter with his many characters that he has played, where would we be without laughter? What I like about him most is his humor is clean not like so many other comedians looking for cheap laughs playing towards our dark side. That black gold that Texas tea with record-breaking temperatures that cause us to inhale it like it was air. We are warming our homes heating our cars consuming hours of fuel before we even enter into them. I say turn up those thermostats and consume that oil if he won’t give me my three and one-half years of harvest he doesn’t need oil for his weapons of war! With the increased consumption of fuel oil to heat our beloved American homes this winter a certain faction that rules over us and hates our Protestant lifestyle sees a need to curb our consumption. The same spirit in them seeks to have those weapons point towards the return of Christ who is at the door. War is profit for those who invest heavily into the military-industrial complex. How precious it was the moment I first believed. This is the day before Christmas, and all over the world, people are gracing G-d with their presence. Churches are seeing people they have not seen since Easter. The message will make them all feel good and bring no conviction to return the following week. You know you have the HOLY SPIRIT in you when you are faithful to honor G-d as HE desires to be honored. The key word is not only JESUS it is also RESPECT. RESPECT HIS WORDS. At this time of year drinking was always the norm in our home my stepfather was not a drinker he seen what it had done to his own father. Every new year my family would go over to my Uncle’s who was my stepmother’s Brother-in-law. He was a big deal at his church he had statues of Mary in the Bathtub and St. Francis and St. Thomas plaster figures that always had a fresh paint job. He would have a new picture of the Pope like we changed pictures of our President in federal buildings only in America we did it more often than they did. Even bullies believe that they can give love if and when the right person comes along. Their fault lies in the fact they never knew love as love was meant to be understood. My Christmas Story is the Never Ending Story.

I have added a few movie titles to this post at the bottom, ones that I find top-notch in Christian movies. They are ones that I have enjoyed. I have seen just about every Christian movie made having spent 18 plus years aiding in the Christian Film Festival’s of America during my week vacation when held in my area. I counseled and led many to Christ at the festivals I know I can do more. I once helped at festival held in Orlando Florida right around the corner from where my only son was living while attending school. I would like to see them come back and go global. One difficult task!

One of the hardest things I find as a Christian is convincing the lost that they are. Most people think they are good and thus deserving of heaven. That is not the way heaven works; good people don’t get into heaven repentant Christ professing sinners do. We are here because G-d’s SON was not worshiped by many doubting angels who began the war. Repentance for man means to turn away from the wicked who’s sufferings will never end. Religious people are also tough because they went through the church they did what they felt was required of them. Their parents trained them up in the way they should go. The question is, are they having a relationship or is HE the last friend they call? Is HE just their savior and not their LORD?
