In “Daniel 8:23” we are told that a king/man having a fierce countenance will stand up who understands dark sentences when the transgressors have come to full! Why can’t he be kinder or gentler what makes him fierce? Does he have to be fierce? We know this, it is what the word of God calls for? Isn’t the Christian goal to be like Jesus? Jesus did not have a fierce countenance but why would this prequel to Jesus have one? We do know Jesus is coming back to destroy the wicked and such were some of us.
