This is not an impossible task, many men throughout history have heard G-d speak directly to them and on more than one occasion.  The entire Bible reflects those who heard and repeated what was spoken to them.  That is why it is called G-d’s word when HE speaks HE does so to the inner core of your being into the spirit of the man not in the mind but the gut the inner core where we find our fight or flight instinct.
